Excelsior Springs Preschool Receives Accreditation

The Missouri Preschool Project (MPP) classrooms at Lewis Elementary and Westview Elementary received an onsite visit this past week.  The Excelsior Springs School District is pleased to announce that both classrooms received full accreditation.

District Welcomes new Director of Curriculum and Instruction

It is with great enthusiasm that we welcome our new Director of Curriculum and Instruction to the Tiger family.  Dr. Stephani Reynolds has agreed to assume her new position in our district for the 2016-2017 school year.

Excelsior Springs Area Career Center Students Win Medals in Missouri SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills Conference

Twenty five of forty competing students from the Excelsior Springs Area Career Center (ESACC) medaled in competitions at the state conference that was held at Linn State Technical College on March 31st-April 2nd, 2016. Students who placed a 1st place medal will advance to national level competitions, held in Louisville, Kentucky during the week of June 20 -June 25, 2016.

School Busses Pass Inspection

The Excelsior Springs School District bus fleet received a 97% percent initial approval rating from the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s annual bus inspection program.  After a couple of minor fixes, the inspection ended with a 100% inspection score.

Elkhorn Principal Receives Award from Local Boy Scouts

EXCELSIOR SPRINGS, MO (April 22nd, 2016) – At their annual awards dinner, the Excelsior Springs Boy Scout troop awarded Larry Nelson with an award from the Clay County Commission.  Mr. Nelson serves as the Elkhorn Elementary Principal for the Excelsior Springs School District.
