Mission Statement

The Children’s Services Fund of Clay County’s mission is to protect the well-being and safety of children and strengthen families in Clay County.

We are proud to be engaged with the Children’s Services Fund of Clay County to support ESSD40 students with Mental Health Services.  Through this impactful grant, ESSD40 is able to partner with agencies, collaborate with other school districts in the county, and invest in supplies and programs to ensure the well-being and safety of our students.

Since 2019, ESSD40 has been awarded nearly $3.5 million in grant funding to assist with Mental Health Screening, Individual and Group Therapy and Counseling, Behavior Intervention, Prevention and Resiliency, Case Management, and Bullying/Suicide/Substance Abuse awareness right here within our school walls.

Educational activities focused on prevention, increasing resilience, self-regulation skills, and strengthening social/emotional development may be offered to students through school-wide and classroom-based initiatives. However, referral-based services and/or student specific interventions require guardian/parental consent and each student is presented with a consent form upon enrollment/registration for the school year.

If your child is in need of individual services, please contact their school for more information.
